World of Naruto

In 1997 Masashi Kishimoto created the manga Naruto, which was based around a ninja boy who had a 9 tailed fox demon imprisoned within him, who lived in a hidden ninja village and everyone hated him for fear of the demon imprisoned inside him. He ended up becoming a hero. The manga and anime based on it, which was then shown in USA and throughout the world, became a worldwide phenomenon. Our MUD, World of Naruto, is trying to create a world that is going to put you inside that world.

You can pick from any of 8 villages (5 main and 3 lesser villages) and over 50 clans within those villages, in addition to choosing what type of ninja you would be, either Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu or Ninja Arts. At level 10, you can also choose from one of 4 blood summons (Toad, Hound, Serpent or Slug).

Players start in the Ninja Academy, trained by Kakashi, Gai, Kurenai, Anko and finally Asuma, then venture forth to get help from Iruka and Shizune, before at level 10 attempting the Genin exams, and later the Chuunin, Tokubetsu Jounin and finally Jounin exams.

Players can enjoy 2 types of auto missions, in addition to player-run RP missions, several NPC quests and regular imm-run quests of different kinds.

Players can join one of 8 genuine Naruto guilds, can optionally participate in player killing or can fight in arena battles where the whole mud can watch you fight.

We are still only about 20% of the way towards completing our vision, but already we have a steady base with 10-15 players on at peak times and we are already the most popular Naruto-themed MUD out there.
