classes and a handful of skills and spells were plenty

having to read a textbook just to get into the game and

FuskerMUD is one of the oldest Dikus still in
existence. And it’s about as close as you’ll come these
days to the original gamma experience. That doesn’t
mean here aren’t any enhancements, of course. In fact, the
code is highly reworked. But always, the philosophy has
been to keep as close as possible to the classic gameplay.
Warrior, Thief, Cleric, Wizard. That’s all you get to
start with…though once you max out these, there’s an
Avatar class to keep progressing in. Yes, some areas
are stock, but sometimes those old areas are, get this,
actually FUN TO PLAY IN! And don’t worry, there’s plenty
of original areas too.
