Dragon’s Exodus

The lands have changed. What was once the legend of history has been proven false. Lies are overturning, and the past is returning. Elder gods have begun to arise from slumber, and some have begun to break the charade once played. With the departure of Corin-Mur, the lands rest at ease. For the moment, at least. Will the dragon return? Or will a new terror surface to take his place? With the dawning of this new age, will YOU help decide the outcome of the coming struggles?

Dragon’s Exodus is an extensive and heavily-modified MUD that has culminated from over a decade of work and affection. Our extensive, original content and areas are a point of pride, but our real heart lies with our community.

* 14 classes (with option to double-class ) and 18 Races
* Friendly and involved staff active on developing the game
* Sound, reasonably mature and stable, loyal playerbase
* Large colourful world in constant state of further expansion
* Automated quests and plenty of area quests
* Clans acting as hub of player interaction
* Player-Owned Houses
* Newbie Friendly, Extensive help files and a Mentor Program for new players
* RP Encouraged. Plenty of evolving RP with a RP Guild to coordinate mudwide RP
* Optional PK System

In Dragon’s Exodus you’ll find friendly, helpful immortals and players in a tight-knit community. A second family if you will. Join our family and join us in our quest. The world awaits you.

I have been playing this mud from the first time I have ever heard of mudding. Over the last few years, many changes happened which, in my opinion, has made it a better game. The races and classes are now becoming more balanced as the coders bring forth these new changes. The one change that I particularly like is that Gnomes, a playable race, explode when their pyrotechnic skills backfire on them. Now…to make a better Gnome death info…

In all, I would have to say that everyone should love playing this game.

Hello Fellow Mudders,
I tried multiple other muds and was never able to fully understand anything nor was there friendly player or a helpful staff. Dragon?s Exodus has these things and it makes for a GREAT experience. It caters to all players weather you wish to play in character as a dwarf warrior all the time, go on adventures through Role Play Notes, or if you just prefer to hack and slash your way to becoming a Champion of Dragon?s Exodus as a Level 250 character. Additionally clan related play allows for further interaction and expansion of your character. It is all there and more. So I would urge you to join me and the rest of our community in Dragon?s Exodus.

I have been here for a very long time. In fact, there is only one person who’s been on this mud, as Admin staff, longer than me. OK. Two. But he’s only been there for a couple of weeks longer than me and he’s “retired”. *snicker* Take that!

Over the years, I’ve seen people come and go as times change, new games come out and die. I _HATE_ WoW. And yes, I played it for a while so you can’t say that I didn’t try it out. *snicker*

Even after this much time, I still count myself as a player. I’ve probably had more player characters than even the players themselves. I say this as I like to try out everything when it comes available. A new class combo? I’ll play it. Nec/sha and sha/nec brings out a new roleplay experience.

There are many new and exciting spells and skills that are in use now which make me drool everytime I use them.

In all, I say come and give us a chance. You might decice to stay. Or at least drop me a note so I know why you didnt’ like the place so I know what you, as a new player, would like to see different.
