Shadowgate

Shadowgate is a RPI (roleplay intensive) MUD that follows the system of Dungeons and Dragons.

It is set in an original world with its own history and timeline, but derives its pantheon and races from the Forgotten Realms/Faerun setting. We are currently passing through a transition from 2e-adapted mechanics, which have been in place since the MUD’s creation in 1994, to a system based on a 3e/4e hybrid.

We support carryover of inventory, multiple areas of the world, quests both within the boundaries of the world, as well as quests that are run by immortals for the players of the game.
