I was reading some old BattleTech manuals and realized that it would be fairly simple to host a nice newbie 'Mech game on a forum. I've seen this before, but never actually played one.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized that Google Wave would be an awesome way to host and play a table game over the 'Net with a few extra tools:

  1. (Flash?) Die roller
  2. (XMPP?) Voice chat
  3. (PDF?) Character charts
  4. (PHP?) Globally editable scheduling calendar

Anyone have any thoughts on the subject?
