Under each listing the "play now" button opens the MudGamers client via a link. It's possible to copy and paste this link elsewhere, so that (for example) you could add it to your muds website, or even insert it into adverts, allowing new players to instantly connect without first downloading a client.
Is it permitted to use the link elsewhere in this way?
If so, have you considered the possibility of allowing muds to set their own background colour/image?

Yes that's possible and allowed, just copy and paste the url of the client page for your game, eg:
http://mudgamers.com/home/clie…..0Wars%20II
I don't really want to offer any customisation of the client page as I'd like to retain the Mudgamers branding as much as possible, particularly if people are linking directly to it.

Understandable, but you could still keep a 'powered by' message/link, or even a banner at the top. You could also offer skinning as a purchasable option.

People can already use FMud (or some other Flash/Java client) on their website if they want their own client. If they don't want to do that for whatever reason then they have the option to link to their client page here instead.

I'd heard of FMud but never looked into it – is it the same client you use here on MudGamers?

Yes, it's pretty much the same client.
