This weekend, in order to celebrate a certain lovey-dovey day, Imperian will be holding its first ever Festival of Hearts. We have a series of fun games and events planned throughout the weekend, and special limited-time only prizes and wares will be available to win and purchase.

Here is the full schedule of events we have planned:

February 13th:
0:01 GMT – The reception for the wedding of Gerolith and Odyne, with a small challenge to see who has the strongest heart!
1:00 GMT – A spikey heart bloodbath. Fight in the arena against your fellow players, but beware the deadly exploding hearts falling from the sky!
2:00 GMT – A scavenger hunt
3:00 GMT – Open PK Heart Candy Hunt: Find as many conversation hearts scattered around the game as you can.

12:00 GMT – Love Hunt: chase your targets through the arena and dedicate the win to your loved one.
13:00 GMT – Freeze tag in the arena. They saw that love can be cold.
14:00 GMT – Partner Tumble Maze Race. You and your partner have to be the first to solve the maze and find the exit.
15:00 GMT – Death Hearth Ball

February 14th:
0:01 GMT – Chocolate drops: which city can eat the most chocolate!
1:00 GMT – Kissing contest
2:00 GMT – Love Hunt
3:00 GMT – Guess the Couple

12:00 GMT – Partner Tumble Maze Race.
13:00 GMT – Guess the number of hearts in the jar.
13:30 GMT – Spikey heart bloodbath.
14:00 GMT – Bait-the-frog: Hold on to the fly the longest without getting eaten by the frog.
15:00 GMT – No-PK Heart Candy Hunt.

This festival has been a downright blast, the whole thing! Big props to Dranor, and all the Celani, Gods and Goddesses that've helped put it on. The events have been a load of fun, with lots of unique prizes, and not only prizes, but unique items that can be bought as well! It's touched on all aspects of appeal, including combat events, roleplaying, quiz, and its share of silly valentine's day related events. I've definitely burned through a ton of gold buying all the neat items, and have spent hours participating in all the fun events.

I'd definitely encourage anyone to log and during the events and see how much commotion is being stirred up, even if you aren't actively playing Imperian! With all the NPCs, Celani, Gods and Goddesses around and interacting with everyone, it's a lot of fun for anyone logged on, period.

Thanks very much for your kind words, Isadarr. I really can't take much credit for the immense success of the weekend, though, as it was due to the hard work and dedication of some of our immortal volunteers. Congratulations to you on winning that kissing contest. The maggots were a nice touch.

It was definitely a blast to observe and be involved in, and the amount of enthusiasm everyone exhibited was positively infectious.

The big winners of the weekend were Aeorden and Markie, who both placed in 6 of the games and contests, while Skye, Trevize, Alarick, Ashel, Isadarr, and Zerin all had excellent showings.
