Each month on OtherSpace (jointhesaga.com 1790), we make special offers for newcomers who want to get involved in our evolving epic without requiring a lot of background knowledge about the game universe.

These characters are humans, caught in space-time rifts from various periods in Earth history.

For September, the following humans are available for new players:

* Pirates from the 17th and 18th centuries, thought lost in shipwrecks
* People who would have been entering the World Trade Center on 9/11, but a rift intervened before they could arrive
* Woodstock 1969 participants

If approved, these new characters get 2,000 Roleplaying Points to spend on fleshing out their stats and skills. They also act as their own mobile "arc event" as they interact with other players.
