2 point post
so i recently got a "moderetly intelligent" phone, not a smart phone but it does have web browsing and a qwerty keypad (samsung rant). it does download content and i have been looking out for a program similar to the app "iMud" for iPhone.
my first point is to ask if anyone has found a good mobile mud client.
my second point is to tell everyone that i have found a really really bad telnet client that atleast allows me to connect to my MUD (the two towers) its called midpssh (www.xk72.com/midpssh) i call it midship. it will connect you to your mud but once your connected it takes a little bit of effort to to sign in and enter commands. you have to select to open a new window(input), enter your command, and then send it to the original window so its great if you just want to get on to go talk to people, check mail, read boards, etc. but i would strongly recommend against it for questing, so if anyone whos proficient at programing could try to get the source code and make a pretty awesome mobile mud client with it

Check out zaTelnet (Google It).
The first time I installed it, I had trouble, but I kept trying different versions until I found the one perfect for my phone (HTC Kaiser).
Now, I can MUD with no trouble from my phone. I may even give up on my old client if I could just afford a laser keyboard (j/k).

I use putty into a shell and then tinyfugue from there when I need access from my phone. I'm not sure it's a very practical setup for most people, but it does the job.

PocketPuTTY is only available for PPC's.

That's as maybe, but I use PuTTY for Symbian OS.

I've no real desire to MUD from my phone, guess I'm not away from my computer enough to understand the attraction of it. (I don't even go on the net or anything like that ) I can see that there might be situations where it could be useful; most of them related to Immortal stuff, players needing help or acting up. I do carry a small notebook around when I go out though, just incase I do get ideas worthy of jotting down for later.
